Ingredients of Gajar Paratha
- 2 cups Atta (wheta flour)
- 1 cup Carrots, grated
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seed powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 Green chilli, chopped
- to taste Red chilli powder
- 2-3 tsp Coriander leaves, chopped
- Water, to knead
- Ghee for cooking
How to Make Gajar Paratha
- To begin with, take a large mixing bowl, add grated carrots, wheat flour, ginger, cumin seed powder, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Now, add water in small portions to knead a soft dough. Take a portion out of the dough and roll it nicely. Heat a tawa on medium flame.
- Cook the paratha evenly from both sides until it becomes golden brown. (Apply a generous amount of ghee or oil while cooking it.)
- Gajar paratha is ready!
