Ingredients:
- 1 cup urad dal
- 2 cup dosa rice
- 1 cup Ragi
- ½ tsp methi seeds
- 1 cup beaten rice/thin poha
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion , tomato , capsicum
- 1 tblsp grated carrot beetroot and cabbage
- 100 gram paneer
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Method:
- firstly, soak urad dal , ragi and rice, methi in a separate bowl. add in enough water and soak for 5 hours.
- furthermore, drain the water from rice and blend to smooth batter. add water if required to make a smooth paste.
- also transfer to a large vessel. and keep aside
- now blend urad dal to smooth fluffy batter.
- now add a cup of thin poha to the blender. and grind to a smooth thick paste.
- transfer the batter into the same bowl and mix well.
- cover and ferment in a warm place for 12 hours.
- the next day you can see the batter has raised well indicating its well fermented.
- also mix the batter slightly.
- furthermore, take required batter in a different bowl. and add salt to the batter and mix well.
- heat a non-stick tava / griddle and pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion circle.
- also smear a little oil over it
- Add chopped and grated veggies on it and press it
- flip it and grate paneer and sprinkle red chilli powder
- cook it from both the side till become golden brown
- serve immediately with coconut chutney and sambar.
