Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp cumin / jeera
- 250 grams beans (chopped)
- 1 medium size chopped potato
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped) and fresh grated coconut - garnish
Method:
- Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and saute ½ tsp cumin until it turns aromatic.
- add beans and aloo and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Also add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder ¾ tsp salt.
- Saute for a minute or until spices are well combined.
- Cover and cook for at least 10 -15 minutes (stir occasionally) .
- sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and grated fresh coconut
- Finally, enjoy beans aloo ki sabji with chapati or rice.
